A valuable imperial purple obi (sash). I was drawn to the beautiful purple color and the ethnic bird pattern, and I acquired it 6-7 years ago. However, I haven't had many opportunities to wear soft items, so it has been sitting in my closet. I haven't been able to photograph it well, but because it has silver thread, the base color changes depending on the angle. However, it doesn't have a flashy feel, but rather a subdued one, so it is recommended for solid-colored kimonos, Edo Komon (small patterned kimonos), and stylish visiting kimonos.
