If you are concerned, please refrain from purchasing. This is a glass pen by MOKUReN, a glass artist residing in Saitama Prefecture. I purchased it at an event about three years ago. It is made with an ice motif, inspired by the "Chichibu Three Great Ice Pillars" with Sai-gyoku ink. The end of the handle has a frosted finish. I used it once after purchasing it, and then stored it away.
