This is a calligraphy book I purchased a long time ago. Since it is a used item, please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned about the condition. It seems that practicing calligraphy by copying classical Chinese works improves your skills. The teacher I'm learning from is incredibly skilled. However, the teacher's calligraphy was created through a lot of copying. To use a cooking analogy, it's like a high-class dish. But to become good at cooking, you have to learn about seasoning, plating, simmering, grilling, how to sharpen a knife, and so on. That's what copying is all about, apparently.
