This piece is a remake of an indigo stencil-dyed cloth, made into a tapestry for display, and has been stored at home for a long time. The lining is men's tsumugi, the border is plant-dyed, and the ornament, resembling a fuchen (decorative weight), is made of hon-chirimen. Please be aware that this is a handmade piece. I love antique cloth and this is one of the pieces I collected with my mother over several decades. I enjoyed it, but I have accumulated similar works, so I have decided to part with it. As it is antique cloth, there are stains, discoloration, and holes. There are also signs of aging, such as discoloration and dirt, as a work of art.
