This bag, a remake of a kimono, is a handmade creation by my mother. (*^^*) It's a patchwork quilt made by connecting rectangles. The inside is red and has one pocket. There are loops on the sides of the bag opening for attaching a shoulder strap, but the strap itself is not included as it hasn't been made. The handles are made of fabric only, without quilting. It's finished with hand stitching and machine stitching. ❀ While it's not quite as professionally sewn as a manufactured item, it's a warm, handmade piece.
