It has been pre-shrunk, so it's ready to be sewn. Thread markings are placed on the edges of the fabric to indicate the front and back. The knots of the thread are on the side that was the inside of the roll. The fabric is woven in a white and navy blue checkered pattern, with a dark navy diagonal lattice pattern dyed on top. From a distance, it looks like a diamond pattern that resembles a floral design. The dye has penetrated through to the back of the fabric.
