This is a padded winter tanzen (a type of Japanese padded robe). It was handmade by my grandmother, who was born in the Meiji era, and is said to have been made in the 1960s. Shoulder width: 63cm Body width: 60cm Length: 135cm Sleeve length: 55cm 裄丈 (Yuki length - from the center of the back to the wrist): 64cm Please forgive any errors due to amateur measurements. For someone 170cm tall, the length will reach just above the ankles, like short socks. Due to long-term storage, there are signs of aging, mothproofing, and a closet smell.
