Purchased from an antique shop in western France. This is a very old enamel brush holder. It has a very simple appearance with a white body and navy blue rim. I was told it was from around 1920. Antique brush holders themselves are not produced very often, and it's not easy to find them even in France, making this a rare item. The white front has hardly any noticeable dents and has a shine, so it's relatively clean. The rust can probably be removed to some extent by sanding with sandpaper; please polish it to your liking.
