This item was stored at my parents' home. The outside is black, and the inside is vermilion. It's not a plastic bowl, but genuine lacquerware. It's very old lacquerware, probably over 50 years old. It shows considerable signs of use. As seen in photo 5, there is some flaking on the inside of the leftmost bowl. Also, as seen in photo 6, there is some dirt on the corner of the foot ring on the back of the bowl.
