This is a half-collar with a pale blue base and a delicate, embroidered pattern of cute flowers and flowing water in a similar, lighter color. Although it's machine-embroidered, the quality is good, and the design is lovely. The soft colors are easy to match with various kimonos, subtly brightening up the face. I think it would look wonderful paired with the collar of a glamorous kimono, such as for a coming-of-age ceremony or graduation hakama. It would especially complement blue, navy, or white furisode (long-sleeved kimono). The material is a blend of synthetic fibers, and the same pattern is embroidered on both the left and right sides of the collar. It is an unused, beautiful item, but it has been stored for a long time, so please understand this before purchasing.
