The fabric is much thinner than sweatshirt material. It's thicker than a T-shirt. I think it's perfect for spring. Since it's quite old, the fabric itself has likely loosened. The neckline, etc., has probably become worn compared to when it was purchased. I don't see any noticeable stains or dirt at a glance, but there are people who become abusive due to oversight, so please purchase only if you can accept that there may be overlooked stains.
