This is a Seiko railway pocket watch with the JR East Japan Tohoku engraving. It is a watch that was used by train drivers at the beginning of JR's establishment. Unlike other Seiko railway pocket watches, the metal parts have a slightly bronze tint, and the JR logo on the dial is also a unique feature not found in other models. The battery was replaced last year, and it is running. The crystal was damaged, so it was replaced with a new, unused crystal obtained at auction. The size is 71mm vertically (including the hanging ring) and 50mm horizontally. The large face provides excellent visibility, with only slight differences in the logo and other details compared to the pocket watches currently used by train drivers. It can be carried around or used as a desk clock. The bezel and back cover have minor scratches that appear to have been made during use by a driver, which I think gives it a nice atmosphere.
