This is a high-class fukuro obi with large flowers woven in gold thread on a deep vermillion background. The pattern is powerful and gorgeous, but it really brings out the seasonal feeling when worn in autumn and winter. It can also create a casual atmosphere depending on the kimono you pair it with, so I used to wear it to dinner parties.
