As shown in images 3 and 5, it has a three-dimensional convex design with a proof finish that has both glossy and matte areas. It was manufactured by backing pure gold foil with pure copper. The surface is stamped with a pure gold hallmark (image 8 is in the lower right, image 9 is in the lower left), and the back is stamped with a pure copper hallmark, permanently guaranteeing its purity. However, the ratio of pure gold to pure copper is unknown. In 1982, the price of gold was around 2,600 to 2,900 yen per gram (Tanaka Kikinzoku). Currently, the price of gold is around 20,000 yen per gram, so it has increased significantly.
