This item was used in a 100-year-old traditional Japanese house. Only the good parts have been cut. It has been washed with a high-pressure washer and the burrs have been removed with sandpaper. There may be traces of nail removal. Because it was cut by hand, the cut surface is not a perfect right angle. The surface is somewhat smooth.
