Fender USA Vintage Hot Rod '62 series Stratocaster slab board rosewood fingerboard neck. This guitar, released around 2007, was well-regarded for its thick, "baseball bat" profile neck. I wanted to switch to a maple neck, so I removed this one and kept it in storage. The medium jumbo frets combined with the neck profile produced a thick and solid sound. Highly recommended for SRV and John Mayer fans. When I was playing it, it was in good condition with a slight forward bow and was stable. The truss rod turns at least 45 degrees in the back bow direction. There are two small marks on the back, as shown in the photos: - Near the 3rd fret on the high E string side: a shallow mark that's barely noticeable. - Near the 10th fret on the high E string side: noticeable to the touch. The "f" on the headstock decal is slightly chipped at the bottom. The maple color appears white in the photos, but it's actually a more amber-colored lacquer finish. The color in the fifth photo, showing the truss rod, is the most accurate. Please check the fret condition in the photos. There's plenty of fret life remaining, and there are no extreme indentations.
