This is a large, four-eared jar made in Ryukyu during the late Edo period. All four ears are intact. There are no cracks or chips in the mouth. Due to its size, it has not been filled with water, so we have not confirmed whether it leaks. It is a jar with a strong presence. It is a fine example of old folk pottery. The size is approximately 56 centimeters in height.
