This is a Shires (S.E.Shires) large bore tenor bass trombone. It is a custom series with the combination of 2G/TB47/AX. The included mouthpiece pipe is engraved with a 2. It features a gold brass bell with a warm and rich tone, combined with an axial flow valve that provides an open blowing feel. It is paired with an open TB47 slide. Upon listing here, the slide and valve movements were checked and no sticking was found. With proper greasing, it should be fine for normal use. There are no dents, but there are areas of plating loss. Please check the photos for scratches and dirt on the main body. A stand, mouthpiece, and case are not included. It will be shipped with careful packaging.
