This is a large-bore tenor trombone by S.E. Shires. It is a Custom Series model, with a 2G/TB47/AX configuration. The included mouthpiece receiver is stamped with a "2". This combination features a gold brass bell, known for its warm and full sound, and an axial flow valve for an open feel. It is paired with an open TB47 slide. At the time of listing, the tuning slides, valve, and slide action have been checked and are all moving freely. With proper greasing, it should function normally. There are no dents, but there are some areas where the plating has worn off. Please refer to the photos for the condition of the instrument, including scratches and blemishes. A stand, mouthpiece, and case are not included. It will be carefully packaged for shipping.
