These are waraji-style sandals, lightweight and quick-drying, made by wrapping a nylon core with a "Shinpin Mame Shibori" (new bean-shaped tie-dye) tenugui (hand towel). Although they are made of cotton, the material is softer than that of a yukata (summer kimono), so it's a delicate material. However, the texture is pleasant against the skin. These are "B-grade" items because the left and right sandals are slightly different in size. Occasionally, there are red stains on the black polka dot sections, which are caused by the red polka dots bleeding. This is not blood. We recommend these for sizes around 24cm. To wash, hand wash and put them in a net for spin-drying, or use the delicate cycle in a washing machine, also in a net. Please wash them separately as there is a risk of color bleeding. If the thong becomes loose or tight after wearing them for a while, please untie and retie the thong on the underside. These are handmade items, so they are not perfect.
