(Although listed as a women's size S, it can also be worn by someone who is closer to a size 9 if the front is left open without using any fasteners.) The upper floral embroidered fabric is silk. The fabric from the waist down features a pattern reminiscent of Central Asian ikat (kasuri). The sleeves are made of a thick, jacquard-woven fabric similar to a comfortable curtain. This coat, which combines elements from Middle Eastern countries (India, Uzbekistan, Turkey), can be said to be a modern reconstruction of traditional textile designs from these regions. It appears to be clothing made in India. The inner fabric from the waist down clearly differs from the ikat-style patterned outer fabric when you put your hand inside. This is to make spot cleaning easier and to prevent puckering if either fabric shrinks. It's a coat that uses four types of fabric with a well-balanced pattern arrangement. Measurements were taken after washing. Based on the impression from trying it on, it seems possible to increase the size to M-L by adding fabric to the front.
