I made a custom pickup for a double bass using a used EMG.
For installation on the double bass, I used zip ties to avoid damaging the fingerboard with screws or clamps.
Using screws can damage the fingerboard like on my double bass (see image 5), and clamping can cause it to slip during playing...
The microphone also picks up the clicking sound of slapping well.
EMG = Naturally active, 1 Vol, 1 Tone (9V battery)
Microphone = Passive, 1 Vol, 1 Tone
The dice for the knobs are shown in image 3.
Solid colors (red, blue, yellow, green, white, pink, purple, orange, brown, black)
Clear colors (red, blue, yellow, green)
You can choose your preferred color.
*MIX is not possible, the hole will be processed on the 1 side.
