Thank you for viewing. This is a Märklin analog HO 3108 DB Class 44 125th Anniversary Limited Edition model. Prior to listing, it has been overhauled. After complete disassembly, it was cleaned using solvents also used by Märklin, and after reassembly, it has been adjusted through repeated running tests on a test stand and test track, so there are no problems with forward and reverse running, reversing mechanism operation, and lights. The actual vehicle for this model is the BR44. The Class 44 is a famous vehicle, considered a masterpiece of the German National Railway, boasting outstanding performance as a heavy freight train locomotive. It is recorded that it could pull 2,500 tons of freight on flat ground. In the past, Märklin released it under product numbers G800, GN800, 3009, 3027, and 3047 from the 1950s, but the model numbers of at least 3027 and 3047 were 44 690, while the model number of this 125th Anniversary model is 44 481. Also, the current collection shoes are double-sided, front and rear, like large models such as the Crocodile (see photo 12). The body is made of die-cast metal and has a substantial weight. As for the paint condition, although there are signs of aging, it is generally not bad. However, there is some paint roughness in the area indicated by the arrow in photo 13 (not very noticeable...). There is a dedicated box, but it has small scratches and tears due to aging. In addition, a certificate (ZERTIFIKAT) and a maintenance leaflet that prove it is a 125th Anniversary Limited Edition model are included.
