HIGHTIDE Produce's Kyushu Artist x Kyushu Traditional Crafts Series. A collaboration between graphic artist KYNE, who draws modern beauties with simple lines reminiscent of the 80s, and Yoshimasa Matsuo, a Hakata doll craftsman specializing in "beautiful women" themes. Based on a clay prototype, discussions were held repeatedly, and the 400-year-old tradition of dolls has been enhanced with the delicate expressions of modern people. Mr. Matsuo handled all processes from prototype creation to coloring.
