This is a large, 36 cm diameter, koma-nuri (top-lacquer) round tray. It's old, but I believe it's unused. It has a sticker that says "natural wood, urushi lacquer." Koma-nuri is a decorative technique where colored lacquer, such as red, yellow, and black, is applied in concentric circles to wooden products turned on a lathe. It was stored in an old box, but the tray itself is in good condition. A bamboo dish (approximately 18 cm in diameter, unused, but the box is old) is also included.
