《Product》 Royal Pet, 14 pieces 《Description》 A series of wooden animal objects sold by Senshukai (the company that currently operates Belle Maison) in the 1960s and 70s. ◆ Beautiful and smooth, with a rounded, cute form, good to the touch, and adorable expressions. Inspired by Scandinavian wooden objects such as Kay Bojesen. ◆ The biggest feature is that they are handmade by Japanese Kokeshi craftsmen. Each one is carefully carved by hand from solid wood (mainly cherry wood). This results in a unique and tasteful finish that combines the warmth of wood with the techniques of traditional Japanese crafts. ◆ Retro modern charm They are no longer available new and are treated as vintage items, and their retro and warm design is still loved by many collectors and interior design enthusiasts. The animal names are engraved in English on each piece. You can put a memo in the woodpecker's beak, or hang accessories like rings on the elephant's trunk or the dog's tail, which I think is cute. All pieces come with their original box & card.
