"Ro" (a type of silk weave) is, along with sha (another type of silk weave), one of the main fabrics for summer kimonos.
Its greatest charm is its exquisite transparency.
The refreshing feel of the fabric allowing air to pass through will let you comfortably enjoy the luxury of wearing a kimono in the summer.
There is no seat backing.
The fabric is a very smooth and supple, high-quality "specially selected koma ro" (a type of ro silk),
A dignified, elegant, subdued dark reddish-brown plain weave fabric, with one "Umebachi" (plum blossom) crest on the back.
