Okinawan Sanshin - Blackwood Sanshin (neck only, 460g), with a sense of age. The shape is Makabe-gata, and the back of the dove's breast is carefully carved. There is no twisting, and it's in good condition. The chigaa (skin on the sound hole) is made of tear-resistant artificial skin, making it easy to maintain. I can't determine the fineness of the blackwood (ebony) material, but the core is very black, and it even looks like a quail's eye pattern!? I think you can see it in the photos.
