On a gradient background from purple to dark navy, the expensive "platinum foil" woven throughout the obi shines beautifully, and with the lavish use of shimmering "gold thread" and "silver thread," the elegant "peacock feathers" add a touch of glamour to the [Tsujigahana] flowers, colored in gentle Tiffany blue, pink, and purple. This is a very well-crafted item, meticulously woven with the techniques of a master from Nishijin, the home of high-quality textiles. The platinum foil shines with a refined elegance against the contrast of purple and dark navy, and the sophisticated, lustrous pattern is striking. This is a high-class fukuro obi that is a step above the rest. The lining is a luxurious [reversible] finish, with a modern [diamond pattern] woven throughout. It is supple and soft, with a moderate weight and thickness, and is tailored with a high-quality "obi core" that fits well, making it very comfortable to wear. It has been treated with Yamato's new water-repellent processing. There are faint fold lines from being folded in half.
