This is a sometsuke (blue and white) plate purchased at an antique market. I was drawn to the carefully painted takokusa (octopus arabesque) design and brought it home. It shows wear and tear consistent with its age. There is a long nyu (crack) on the side of the foot. It has been repaired. It should be fine for use. Please examine the images carefully for details.
