Batteries are not included. I've used this several times for airsoft. Mesh fabric has been attached to the wire mesh using a glue gun to make it harder to see through to the mouth. The mask has been hand-washed before listing. The nose area has been adjusted with a white sponge-like material to fit my face. It has yellowed slightly from the adhesive.
