This is a replica sword with a scabbard and hilt made of animal bone (possibly cow bone). Both the scabbard and hilt feature delicate carvings, making it a very rare item. An eagle is carved on one side, and a lion on the other. It was originally part of my grandfather's collection, but the details are unknown. The mekugi (peg) is missing, so the blade is easily removed. Also, the blade has scratches and peeling plating. Please consider this an item to be enjoyed by viewing it without removing it from the scabbard.
