This is an early RRL cap. The leather strap with eyelets is quite rare. 90s, three-star, black tag, made in the USA, Double RL. The RRL icon, an embroidered vintage American car, is impressive. A good color, like blue-gray. Fewer in number than trucker caps, making it very rare. The entire piece has a dirty, vintage finish, a true Ralph Lauren touch. The fabric is thick yet soft, giving it a luxurious feel. I can't imagine another cap made with such care. The condition is good, having been worn only a few times since new. The striped leather is soft and supple. The silhouette is surprisingly beautiful, as you'd expect from Double RL. It's made large enough to fit comfortably on an adult Japanese man. It fits my big head perfectly, so those with larger heads can rest assured. It easily fits sizes over 60. The fit is perfect, not too shallow and not too deep.
