The fabric has a slightly rough texture and is somewhat stiff (possibly linen-like?). It's slightly sheer, making it a cool and refreshing kimono suitable for summer. I received this as part of a collection from a kimono-loving family member, but I don't think I'll have a chance to wear it, so I'm putting it up for sale. I'm not very knowledgeable about kimonos, so I can't answer specialized questions. (It's barely noticeable.) ● It has been stored in a chest for a long time, so it has a mothball smell.
