This is a hand-painted antique plate. It was displayed in the tokonoma (alcove) of the house before the previous one, so I'm told. (At least 100 years old) This hand-painted plate was purchased long ago by a family member who loves antiques. The gold on the rim of the plate is slightly chipped, and there are minor scratches on the back from when it was made, but otherwise, there is no significant damage. I don't know the value very well, so Would anyone interested in antique plates be interested?
