Specifications: Total length is 340mm, diameter is 1.5mm, breaking strength is approximately 140kg, and the core material is ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (Spectra, a US product name). Spectra is a fiber said to be 10 times stronger than steel and 1.4 times stronger than aramid fiber. It follows the snare wire perfectly, adheres well to the snare side, and has excellent response. Also, it has moderate flexibility, so I have never encountered an accident such as a sudden breakage. The quantity is a pair of 2, enough for one snare drum. Production is in the UK, MADE IN UK.
