Last year, when I traveled to Okinawa, I wore a pair of pants from an old outdoor brand that had detachable lower legs. For me, who prefers to travel light, these pants were a great help. However, since they were old pants, there were, of course, some things I wanted to improve, so I created my ideal 2-way pants. The fabric is not the typical rustling kind, but stretchy CORDURA®. The hems also have adjusters so they can be tightened. The waist has a belt, and there are plenty of zippered pockets. The shorts alone have a good silhouette, making them all-around great.
