Hand-painted work from a small pottery studio on the island of Mallorca, Spain. The flowers, painted with confident brushstrokes on thick, plump pottery, are magnificent. Not pretentious, these plates were displayed on walls both inside and outside homes in the local area. Approximately 14.3 cm in diameter, 3.5 cm deep. A hole for hanging a string has been made on the back of this plate, so it can also be hung on a wall. Unused since purchase.
