Thank you for viewing from among many items. This is a vintage silk crepe de Chine *homongi* (formal visiting kimono). It features a darkish pale purple with a *bokashi* (gradation) effect, depicting flowing water and fine stones in a fantastical design. *Photo 10 is the closest representation of the purple color.* It's a Showa-era item, but it's in good condition. The outer fabric is of medium weight and sturdy. Some of the fine stones in the front pattern are embroidered with silver thread. Although it seems like it should have a *rakkan* (artist's signature), it does not. As it has no *mon* (family crest), it's suitable for theater visits and parties. However, the *doura* (lining of the body) has yellowed, but it's a uniform color, so it's not very noticeable. Please refrain from purchasing if you require a white lining.
