After the serialization ended, a special episode was drawn (published in Weekly Shojo Comic, issue 10, 1982) featuring Adachi himself as an investigator, due to many questions from readers about the subsequent events at Hidamari-so. Adachi visits Hidamari-so, where Aito is house-sitting, and the page ends when Kasumi, Yusaku, and the other five residents return home.
