This is a cane I purchased about 10 years ago for around 20,000 yen when I had hip surgery. I needed to use the cane for six months as per my doctor's instructions, but I developed tenosynovitis in my wrist, so I bought a cane that supports the elbow. I used this cane for about four months. I have stored it since then. I searched online and found that this type of cane is called an "elbow support cane" or a "rheumatoid arthritis cane." The fixing screw (or similar) for adjusting the length of the cane doesn't fully close as shown in the image, even when tightened firmly, but it was like that from the beginning. See photo 4. The rubber part that touches the ground has wear and tear towards the front, with some parts peeling up to about 3mm. The synthetic leather on the elbow support is partially torn. The handle can be adjusted. A wrench for the nuts is required for adjustment; the wrench is not included. There is rust on the nuts. There are no problems with fixing; I could tighten and loosen them. Regardless of the rust, the handle wobbles slightly even when fully tightened. I took photos 13 and 14. There are no problems with use. The Velcro straps fasten securely. I will pack the cane with the handle facing downwards, as shown in photo 12.
