A vintage demitasse cup and saucer set featuring a lily-of-the-valley pattern, made by Hammersley of England, founded in 1887. The lily embossing is gorgeous☆ It has a slender and elegant form. Offered at a reasonable price☆ Circa 1960s I had been preparing to list this last year before the Lily of the Valley season, but didn't get around to it. I thought I'd list it before the season this year, but again, the season has passed. At this rate, I'll probably be repeating the same thing next year, so I'm listing it at my own pace, even though it's late, but I'd like to offer this lily of the valley set. Lily of the valley patterns have a low production volume, and Hammersley pieces are rare and highly sought after by collectors. The market price is also higher than that of the Violet (pansy) pattern. Don't miss out •.¸¸☆*・゜ I'm gradually listing items from my collection. If you like European antiques, vintage items, and shabby chic, please check back regularly(*´∀`) I am also listing other Hammersley items. ★Condition★ The gold trim is sparkling and very lustrous. There are some crazing marks on the underside of the cup and a small part of the side. They are not noticeable and cannot be seen at a glance. There is no yellowing from the crazing. There is some fading of the pattern on the ring part of the saucer. I have lowered the price. Both the cup and saucer are very lustrous with no signs of use, so I believe they were kept in a cabinet. Excellent condition☆ ※There are individual differences in subjectivity, so please refrain from purchasing if you are overly concerned about details m(_ _)m About Vintage Tableware Unlike recent items, small black spots, black dots, paint loss, and minor imperfections from the manufacturing process are generally found in all vintage items. We hope you understand that these items have been loved for a long time and will continue to be used for many years to come. Victorian Violet Pansy Violet
