This is a vintage marimekko dress featuring a design of lily of the valley, berries, pears, and apples, which is a wonderful design that seems to represent the Finnish summer. The smooth 100% cotton fabric is very elegant and perfect for summer. It has a lining and is not see-through. There are pockets on both sides. I usually wear European size 37-38 (M size), and the 42 size (L size) has a wide opening at the armpits, so I attached fasteners myself as shown in photos 4-5, and wore it with a ribbon for waist marking as shown in photos 6-7. If you wish, I can send it to you with those attached, but if you don't need them, I can also remove all the fasteners, so please let me know in advance. The ribbon is just a temporary one, so you may want to change it to your liking. If you are not concerned about the armpit area, you can remove the fasteners and wear a camisole underneath. The condition shows some signs of wear, but it is in relatively good condition.
