A representative photo collection by French photographer Luc Delahaye. He traveled through Russia in the harsh winter of 1998-99, documenting the country as it faced a social crisis. The photographs, which look like scenes from a set movie, are all non-fiction. The images, which seem to straddle the line between art and journalism and appear as if the subjects might move at any moment, are poetic yet violent, beautiful, and stimulating. The title is "Winter Journey." There are minor folds and stains on the edges of the dust cover, and other minor age-related soiling throughout. There is no major damage. Thank you.
