Approximately 30 x 25 x 1.3 cm I believe this is Wajima-nuri lacquerware, though I'm not certain as it's from my parents' home. It certainly appears to be. I'm offering three pieces in near-unused condition from a set of about ten. I've selected pieces with minimal noticeable scratches, but please refrain from purchasing if you desire a completely brand-new condition. The black base features a striking depiction of a pine branch with intricate gold inlay (chinkin), and the lush pine needles resemble a "monkaburi no matsu" (pine tree crest), conveying a sense of high class and auspiciousness, as if wishing for the prosperity of the home. The reddish-brown lines around the edges add brightness and a touch of elegance. The small size is more suitable for serving sake and appetizers, or tea and sweets, rather than a full meal. It allows you to quickly create a refined atmosphere. I am also listing other lacquerware items. I would be grateful if you would take a look. Please consider them for your New Year's preparations.
