Boujad is located at the foot of the Atlas Mountains, and is known for its female weavers who create patterns with a free sensibility. This is a rug called "Boucherouite," woven by reusing various materials such as old cloth and leftover yarn, and its playful texture and art piece-like presence are its charm. This rug is based on wool, and the shag part is woven with a combination of cotton and acrylic yarn, providing a solid thickness and stability. The fluffy pile creates three-dimensional shadows, and you can feel the warmth unique to handmade items. Threads of pink, turquoise, gray, brown, red, and other colors overlap vertically, creating a striped rhythm.
