Unused item. I believe the included batteries are old and unusable. I have confirmed that it operates without tape, but I am unsure if the speed is normal. Fast forwarding feels slightly slow. Recording has not been tested. The inside of the battery compartment shows noticeable signs of aging. The sponge cushion has deteriorated and has been removed. Please understand that this is a used item owned by an individual before purchasing.
