A shogi piece, a "Kyosha" (lance) piece, written in Kinpei style by Seizan Kanai. No price reduction. It's a moriage koma (raised piece), but the back is a hori-ume koma (carved and filled). The front has a slight moriage. Both the front and back have some lacquer chipping (photos 1 and 2). Overall, there are some scratches from use. The "Osho" (King) pieces in photos 3 and 4 are not included. It's rare to see pieces by Seizan Kanai, but when you do, you'll think, "Wow..." I've polished them with Seto polishing, so the pieces are shining. Seizan's signature style indicates the era, and this calligraphy style suggests it was made around 1950-1960. ✨If you purchase multiple pieces, I will offer a small discount.
