The front of the garment is richly decorated with flowers, leading me to believe it might be a visiting kimono. However, based on the pattern, it's likely a komon (small pattern) or a full-pattern visiting kimono. It can be worn for both formal and semi-formal occasions. It's a gorgeous and very beautiful piece. There is a tear at the top of the armhole (as shown in the seventh photo), but it should be fine after sewing. It can be worn from October to May.
