LEOPARD means the animal "leopard", and at the time, Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. wrote it as "Leopard", but CITIZEN used "Leopard" = the French pronunciation. This watch was sold as a higher-end model than those named "7 (Seven)" such as Crystal Seven, and it became popular as a high-frequency wristwatch made to compete with SE○KO's "King Seiko Hi-Beat". Especially the 8-beat and 10-beat models are called "Super Beat" and are still popular today. This individual is the 28800 vibration "Super Beat 8". ● The case is made of stainless steel.
