Sometimes it would beep occasionally when batteries were left inside. Please understand that you probably won't be able to use it as a kitchen timer. Also, as it is a junk item, the batteries will be removed before shipping. Please refer to the images for the paint chipping on the top of the front. A magnet is attached to the back, allowing it to be attached to a refrigerator.
